San Diego Prevention Coalition

WalkePR, in partnership with Conlee Communications, increased consumer awareness and education of the grass roots efforts of several community groups through publicity and news opportunities with the ultimate goal of gaining political support for local policymaking. We developed their existing spokespeople as experts to create a stronger relationship with the neighborhood media and created clear and focused messages. Finally, we handled the event launch of Red Ribbon Week by staging an Oct 21 march on San Diego City Hall called the “D.O.A. (Drugs Out of America) March” referring to both the deceased agents and the groups’ anti-drugs position.
